Whitsunday
Today we celebrate the Holy Spirit of God made manifest to the apostles on the Day of Pentecost, the fiftieth day after the Passover, when the Jews commemorated the Feast of Weeks and the giving of the Law through Moses. We acknowledge that the Holy Spirit writes God's law of love in our hearts.
