Mothers' Union -At the next meeting this Wednesday 4th November Sheila Davies will continue her talk about fostering children.

Christmas Market (Saturday 28th November) -New ideas for stalls and other fund-raising initiatives welcome. First planning meeting this Friday, 6th November, at 6pm.

Bread and cheese for Dana -Next Sunday, 8th November, the Gemstones will be serving bread and cheese after the service in support of Dana, their sponsored child in the Holy Land.

Time to pay for dinner -If you have booked a Christmas Dinner with Ruth Reynolds at NWK College, it is time to pay her £20.

Remembrance Sunday - on Sunday 8th November at 10am there will be a Family Service with Communion leading up to an Act of Remembrance at 11am. In the afternoon at 3pm there will be a service and wreath-laying at Stone War Memorial.

Bonfire night -As in years past there will be a bonfire party at the Rectory on Thursday 5th November from 7pm. Bonfire and sparklers are provided. If you are intending to bring a firework, perhaps you might make a gift aided donation to the church and allow us to buy them for you. Please speak to Robin today. 

Quiz night - on 14th November at 7.30pm in Acacia Hall Ballroom Dartford, in aid of Valley Park (Hospital) Radio. Tickets £4 available from Ruth .

Choose the new Bishop of Rochester - on Thursday 12th November at 8.00pm at St Justus Church, Rochester, there will be a public meeting at which your views on who should be the new bishop may be expressed .
