Children are very welcome at St Mary's.  We call our young children "Gemstones" - because they are very precious!  Gemstones are children of school age up to 14.  We have a dedicated team of Leaders who meet with the children during the 10.00 a.m. services every Sunday (except on the second Sunday of each month which is Family Service).  For pre-school children there is a Children's Corner at the back of the Church which has books and colouring materials.  The Mothers Union is providing some Activity Bags for the children to use in the pews. 

We call our pre school children "Little Gems".  This Group meets weekly at our Church Hall in Stone Place Road every Friday from 10.00 a.m. to 11.45 am.  Parents and Carers are welcomed with coffee/tea and a chat whilst their children play and make new friends.

St Mary's runs a holiday club in the summer holidays for children. More details about this can be obtained from the Rector.
